Welcome all to the very first entry of the littlescamps blog .
www.littlescamps.ie is an online shoes and accessories site focused on kids aged from zero to secondary school age, set up by us – two friends with 3 young kids between us. Trips to shoe shops looking for our little darlings footwear were, to be honest, becoming non – events. We love shoes ourselves and became increasingly frustrated by the lack of choice in fashionable footwear when we went to look for shoes & boots for smaller feet. Either the ones you liked weren’t available in your child’s size or the same styles appeared to be offered season after season. Anyway…we decided we would try to research the availability of shoes that we liked ourselves and (now that our kids are a bit older) that the kids actually liked themselves. We all know how adamant children can be when they have seen something they like, so we thought it important that they were involved. The kids help us with quite a few of our shoe choices for the younger age groups so buying has become a real family event.
This blog is intended to be a (hopefully) weekly account of what is going on with us – in running our business, in family life, as women and just great or funny things that happen in life generally. We hope you will join us along the way and contribute posts if you feel like it.
